Missions and Outreach
We contribute to the state, regional, national and worldwide groups which seek to help improve people’s lives.
Children and Youth
In a caring environment, we foster an atmosphere where children and youth can grow and thrive.
Music
Nourish your soul with our inclusive music program, where both musicians and listeners find a warm welcome.
Preschool
Our preschool provides a safe, friendly, and nurturing environment for 3-5 year-olds that encourages confidence and a love of learning.
Worship
Our time in Worship is the centerpiece of our Church Programs. We worship every Sunday at 10:00 AM both in-person and streaming.
Prayer Group
Our members receive our prayers, Pastoral and/or laity visitations when they encounter challenging health, family or financial situations. If needed, we often provide meals or other assistance to help.
Our Prayer Group volunteers to use their personal prayer ministry to support others who have requested help in times of need.
You can request prayers or join the prayer group by using the Contact Form.
Lectio Divina
Just what is Lectio Divina, you ask? Our Saturday morning sessions are a time to explore God’s word with members of our church family. If you have limited familiarity with the Bible, this group is perfect for you! None of us are Bible scholars. Nor do any of us have definitive answers. God’s word speaks to each of us differently and we learn so much from each other.
You don’t need to commit to every Saturday morning, come only when you are able.
The first Saturday of each month 9 to 10:30 AM (and every Saturday during Lent) via Zoom so that those out of state can still attend. The topic for each session is the Scripture for the following Sunday worship (that makes it fun to compare the preacher’s interpretation of the scripture to ours). WE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOU JOIN US!!!! Get more information on how to join in by using the Contact Form.
Book Groups
Our Bible Book Study Club meets on Tuesday at 1:00 P.M. on Zoom. Together we select a book of interest to the group to read and discuss.
The Friday Night Book Group meets one Friday evening a month and selects a book or poetry of interest for the group to read and discuss.
Check the Events Calendar to find programs meeting soon.

Our Christian Faith and EGCC Vision, Identity and Mission Statement guide us to care for those in our Church, our local and worldwide communities.
God has abundantly blessed us and called us to be a community that blesses others through the sharing of our love, our talents, and our material possessions.

Our Children and Youth Learn about God’s Love in Many Ways
Our Church School Program gives our Children special time together in a safe and caring environment. Guided by the teachers and Shepherds, our children learn about God, make lifelong friendships and practice our Church’s vision, identity and mission. Our older Youth participate with the Granby Congregational Church, UCC in confirmation, service and fellowship.
We share our Gifts and Talents with our Community and the World
We are active in our community in partnership with other organizations which help our neighbors in need, and support the local educational, spiritual, and social environment. We contribute to the state, regional, national and worldwide groups which seek to help improve people’s lives. We also provide hands-on service opportunities with Cathedral in the Night, Crop Walk, Habitat for Humanity among others.
Our Preschool has helped young children to grow and learn for over 50 years.
The EGCCNS Preschool offers half-day classes for 3-5 year olds. We believe all children learn best through play and experimentation. Our mission is to provide a safe, secure, friendly, and nurturing environment that encourages confidence in students as they grow in independence and self-respect, while gaining a love of learning.
