Sermon Title: Wonder Bread
Take Home Prayer:
Dear God, I praise You and thank You for the gift of Your life. I
acknowledge that I often look to other sources for life, sources that
leave me hungering, hurting and hurtful to others. These sources are
familiar and seem so benign. Help me to turn from those as the source
of life, and turn to You, the Bread of Life. Thank You that You
forgive me. Help me to know and trust and live into Your forgiveness.
I choose now to open myself to You, to listen in Your presence, seeking
to embody Your gift of abundant and eternal life this day, and to know
how I can can be Your gift to others. [At this time, take some time to
be silent, receiving God's love and listening for God's word to you -
15 minutes or so].
I choose to continually partake of the feast of Your presence and love
today, that I can be bread of life for others. I thank You. In Jesus'
name, Amen.
