The "Take-Home" Prayer
Dear
God, I praise You and thank You for Your presence, love, and life. I thank You for the gift of Jesus. As I put away the “stuff” of this season,
help me not to put away Jesus and the new life he brings. Help me receive the gift of the magi – that I
will act on my yearning for Your healing and transformation of me and
the world. Help me today to
intentionally choose You, to ask for Your help, to seek Your leading, and to be
open to the power of Your Spirit. I take time now to open myself to whatever
you have for me (spend some time in silence, seeking to be in God’s presence
and to receive whatever message, image, experiences God has for you).I choose
today to live and move and have my being in You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
